Title Case follows normal headline rules, so short words like of, the, and, to and by stay lower case unless they open or close the line.
Alternating case flips between lower and upper on each letter while leaving punctuation and spaces alone, and inverse case swaps whatever case each character already has. Line breaks survive every conversion, so a 200 line list stays a 200 line list. Acronyms already written in full capitals, such as NASA or SEO, are left untouched by Title Case rather than being reduced to Nasa and Seo.

Frequently asked questions
Which words stay lower case in Title Case?
The tool keeps a, an, the, and, but, or, for, nor, of, on, in, at, to, by and vs in lower case when they sit inside the line. The first and last words are always capitalised, which matches Chicago, AP and most house style guides for headlines.
Will my acronyms be ruined?
No. Any word that is already two or more capital letters, such as SEO, HTML or NASA, is passed through unchanged by Title Case. Sentence case does lower everything by design, so run acronym heavy text through Title Case instead if you need them preserved.
Are line breaks and blank lines kept?
Yes. Every conversion works line by line, so lists, poems, CSV rows and code comments keep their structure. Sentence case and Title Case each restart their rules on every new line, which is what you want for a list of headings or product names.
Where does the downloaded file come from?
The .txt file is built in your browser from the text on screen using a blob, then saved straight to your downloads folder. No copy of the text is sent to a server. It is encoded as UTF-8, so accented letters and other non Latin characters survive the round trip.
